We will discover two paintings of Sybils, one by Guido Reni and the other by Guercino, exemples of ideal female beauty in a recurring subject of the time. We will be surprised by the realistic and popular interpretation of a mithological episode, Latona changing the Lycian peasants into frogs by Giuseppe Maria Crespi. Finally a focus on the Allegorical tomb by Donato Creti from the series of paintings in honour to illustrious English personalities.
